Trailblazers is a fun, outdoor-based program with the goals of increasing physical activity, inspiring connection to nature throughout the seasons, and developing outdoor and leadership skills. The program will run rain or shine!
This fall, we are offering Trailblazers for grades 4-6 on Thursday afternoons, starting on November 2. The program leaders will meet participants at New Ross Consolidated School at dismissal. We will walk to a wooded area near NRCS to explore the natural world.
Every week, we will play active games, eat a healthy snack, do a focus activity (outdoor skill or nature exploration), and have dirt time (this is what we call free play). The key components will be consistent but each day will be different! We will walk back to NRCS for pickup at 5:00 PM in the parking lot.
