Are you interested in building your leadership skills and gaining a high-quality volunteer experience? Apply for our Junior Leader Program to learn new skills and volunteer your time as a camp leader.
This free program will begin with a 2-day training session where Junior Leaders will learn about how to be an effective leader, shadow camp staff, and get to practice leading camp activities in a safe and supportive environment. Once the training is completed, Junior Leaders will volunteer at one or more of Coastal Action’s Earth Adventure Camps for ages 6-8 or 9-12.
Note: Junior Leaders must be at least two years older than the campers with whom they are volunteering. Junior Leaders must be willing to volunteer at least 15 hours over the course of the summer.
Please note that this program is application-based (not first-come, first-served). Applicants will be notified if they have been accepted within one week of applying.
